Filtering the Explore feed

Explore is the full LexLens feed. The filter bar lets you narrow it to exactly what you need.

Filters available

  • Content type — News, Blogposts, Case Law, Competition, Regulatory, Legislation, Social, Videos, Papers (or All).
  • Areas of Law — a searchable multi-select across the 27 practice areas.
  • Jurisdiction — filter to one or more jurisdictions.
  • Date — All, Today, 7 Days, 30 Days, or a custom from/to range.

When you select certain content types, extra filters appear:

  • Case Law (with EU selected): Court and Document Type (Judgment, AG Opinion, Press Release, Order).
  • Competition: Instrument (Antitrust, Merger, DMA, FSR) and Legal Basis (Art. 101/102 TFEU).
  • Papers: Journals.

What Free vs Pro can filter

Free accounts can browse News, Blogposts, Social and Videos. The other content types (Case Law, Regulatory, Legislation, Competition, Papers) show a padlock in the filter — selecting one takes you to the upgrade page. Pro and Enterprise accounts have every content type unlocked.

Tips

  • Filters also apply to search — searching while a filter is active narrows results to that filter.
  • On mobile web and the iOS app, quick-tab pills at the top of the article list let you jump between the common content types.
  • Set up a Custom Lens to save a filter/search combination you use often (Pro). See Custom Lenses: save your searches.
