Deleting your account

You can permanently delete your LexLens account yourself.

How to delete

  1. Open Account Settings (your avatar / account menu).
  2. Scroll to Delete Account and select Delete my account.
  3. If you sign in with an email and password, enter your password to confirm.
  4. Select Permanently delete.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes your account and all associated data — including saved articles, preferences, custom lenses, and notification/digest settings. This cannot be undone.

Before you delete

  • If you subscribe to Pro: deleting your account does not automatically cancel billing that runs through Apple. If you subscribe via the iOS app, cancel in your App Store subscriptions as well. If you subscribe on the web via Stripe, cancelling before deletion is cleanest. See Cancelling your subscription.
  • If your firm provides your access (Enterprise): you generally don't need to delete your account to leave — ask your organisation's admin to remove you, which frees your seat while keeping your ability to use LexLens independently. See Removing a team member.

Prefer to take a break instead?

If you just want to stop the emails, you can turn off digests or unsubscribe without deleting your account. See Unsubscribing from emails.
