How do I change my email address?

How you change your email depends on how you sign in.

Email & password accounts

If you sign in with an email and password, you can change your address yourself:

  1. Open Account Settings (your avatar / account menu).
  2. Under Email, select Change email.
  3. Enter your New email address and your Current password.
  4. Select Send confirmation link.

We'll send a confirmation link to the new address. Open it within 1 hour to finish the change. Your email stays the same until you confirm — so if you don't click the link, nothing changes.

For your security, we also send a heads-up to your old address letting you know a change was requested.

Note: for privacy, the confirmation message is the same whether or not the new address is available. If the new address is already used by another LexLens account, the change simply won't complete — try a different address.

Opening the link

  • If you open the link in the same browser where you're signed in, LexLens updates your session and takes you back into the app.
  • If you open it elsewhere, the change still applies, but you'll be asked to sign in again with your new address.

Google or Apple sign-in

Your email comes from your Google or Apple account and can't be changed inside LexLens. If you need to move your LexLens account to a different address, contact support and we'll help.

Lexstream Academy accounts

Your email is managed by your Lexstream Academy account. Change it at academy.lexstream.io, and it will sync to LexLens the next time you sign in.

Single sign-on (SSO) accounts

Your email is managed by your organisation's identity provider and can't be changed in LexLens. Ask your IT/admin team to update it there.
