I can't sign in

Work through these in order.

1. Check which method your account uses

Signing in with the wrong method is the most common cause. If you created your account with Google, Apple, SSO, or Lexstream Academy, you must use that method — a LexLens email/password won't exist. See Which sign-in method does my account use?.

2. "Invalid email or password"

Double-check the email and password. If you've forgotten your password (email/password accounts only), use Forgot password?. See How do I change or reset my password?.

3. "Account locked for 15 minutes"

After 5 failed attempts the account locks for 15 minutes. Wait, then try again — or reset your password in the meantime.

4. "Please verify your email"

New accounts must be verified. Open the verification link we emailed (valid 24 hours). Use Resend on the confirmation screen if needed, and check spam.

5. Reset emails aren't arriving

A password-reset email is only sent for email/password accounts. If you signed up with Google/Apple/SSO/Academy, no email is sent — use that provider instead. Also check spam and confirm you're using the address on your account.

6. On the iOS app

  • If Continue with Google fails in the app, try email/password, or contact support.
  • Try updating the app (see Keeping the app up to date).
